In my opinion, this is when the Taurus should have won "ugly car of the year". I never did like the Taurus, but this model/design made me ill. I swore I would never own one and I think re-naming the Ford 500 a Taurus was a stupid move for Ford. The 500 is NOT the same car as the Taurus and people who liked the Taurus aren't going to go buy the 500/2008 Taurus just because the name has changed. The Ford 500 looks very much like an "old man's" kind of car. I expect sales to tank.
